Thanks for the compliments, everyone. Many, many thanks to Cherry for inspiring us to research Tanabata. My DD had a lot of fun making the decorations and learning about the traditions. I learned a lot, too!

Felcity and Elizabeth are still wearing their clothing from the party. Well, we girls know how it is when you look so ravishing you don't ever want to remove the outfit. [img]smile.gif[/img] But we told them they have to go back to period clothing soon...

We're going to WDW next week, and DD is determined to take Jess along with the kimono Cherry made, so she can visit Japan at Epcot. That will be fun, and we'll take lots of pictures there!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">[img]wink.gif[/img] The Meet outfit is coming along, and DD wanted to bring the other pink kimono along, too. I had to draw the line at that, even though the pink one is cotton. It's rather fragile...yours is sturdier. Jess will have to suffer for the sake of fashion, I'm afraid. Oh, but you should have seen the pile of outfits DD had packed for Jess!
